Accessible, Accountable & Reliable for Your Children, Youth and Families
Tuesday, October 23, 2018

Dear Supporters, family and friends,
As your Brampton’s 2017 VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR, Manager with the Boys and Girls Club of Peel and your Community Advocate, I would like to thank all of you, especially those that caste a vote for me as your School Trustee Candidate in Brampton Wards 7 & 8 with the Peel District School Board in the 2018 Municipal Election.

We did not get the results we wanted or expected, but that is democracy. The people have spoken.

My model for success has been consistent in the community for years and will continue to be, as I still believe and will continue to participate within collaborations, partnerships and team-building initiatives for many more years to come.

Let me begin but saying Congratulations to Trustee Carrie Andrews on her re-election.
To Councillor Fortini on being elected as Regional Councillor.
To Charmaine Williams, our NEW City Councillor.
To Patrick Brown, Brampton's New Mayor.

Thank you to Mayor Linda Jeffrey for your passion, dedication and commitment to the children, youth, families and businesses in our great City of Brampton over the past four years.
I stand behind my 2014 & 2018 platforms and statements when I say, “We need to focus on making sure all youth are getting the right and equitable representation from their Trustee, meaning this role must be full-time position and we need a local MPP to bring this concern to the floor of Queens Park.”

“We need to ensure that within our social we are adequately teaching, mentoring and helping our students with all aspects of their mental health, physical education, especially as it regards our special education programming. Our students need to know they have a voice and a Trustee that Accessible, Accountable, Reliable and willing to Champion the needs, concerns and wants of very child, youth and family in my Wards.

Thank you again for all the support, encouragement and kindness I experienced before, during and tonight's journey.
Four years is not that long away......
